Pink Walk & Pink Challenge
On Sunday 30th October the annual Pink Walk was held at Innes Common, Hamilton Lake. This year we also introduced the new 'Pink Challenge' which was a huge success.
Over 1000 people turned up dressed in all shades of pink, to help us raise breast cancer awareness in the Waikato. The sun was shining and a fabulous day was had by everyone.
Congratulations to Gallagher Group on winning the coveted 'Pink Challenge Cup' - can you beat them next year?
Over $15,000 was raised for our breast cancer research programme and we couldnt have done it without all our wonderful sponsors who donated spot prizes and goods free of charge - without them this event would not be able to go ahead.........
and of course, most importantly, everyone who took part!
